Getting the Church into politics

How refreshing to hear a politician calling for greater Church involvement in politics, instead of the routine “stay out of politics, stick to religion” line we so often hear trotted out, or at best “letting” the Church have a say.
Full credit to Kevin Rudd for this call. Rudd is, of course, a professing Christian himself. Now if we could only hear some of the non-Christian politicians admitting that the Christian worldview has something to offer the world of politics, that would be even greater progress.
