FT Youth Worker (5 days)
St Mark's Pennant Hills
The arrival of our new rector signals the beginning of an exciting new stage in the history of St Mark's and we're keen to recruit a new Youth Pastor to help take our youth ministries to the next level.
We're looking for someone committed to seeing teenagers come to Christ and grow in passionate, committed, practical discipleship.
Are you excited about:
- evangelising, teaching and discipling teenagers yourself in big groups, small groups and one-on-one?
- identifying, training and mentoring other volunteer leaders for youth ministry while being mentored yourself?
- getting involved in local high school ministry?
- taking responsibility to identify and develop new opportunities and strategies to reach local teenagers with the transforming message of Christ?
- helping to foster cross-generational relationships at church so that we live true to our ‘oneness in Christ’?
If you are, and you:
- have been following Jesus for some time and are of evangelical conviction;
- are a team player rather than a ‘lone ranger’;
- have some theological training; and
- are committed to the principles of ‘safe ministry’;
