    Revisiting Foundations

    After 40 years as a Pentecostal following 30 years as an Anglican, Broughton Knox's book is a timely reminder of the basic foundations we all share, (whatever denomination we might be), if we profess Jesus as Lord. Too often our denominational traditions or worship styles take on the form of "Jesus plus something". Knox reminds us that it is Jesus plus nothing else. It's only Jesus. Jesus, Jesus. His explanation of the relational God in the Trinity is insightful, illuminating and comprehensive. I've used his book as a reference source and to stimulate discussion within my home group, on a number of occasions.
