    • questions and ideas to stimulate discussion
    • a linked summary video to draw the ideas together
    • concluding questions to discuss the implications

    The passages in You, Me and the Bible are taken from all over the Bible, and introduce readers to six key ideas in the Bible's message:

    • God as our creator and ruler
    • Humanity as rebels against God
    • God's judgement on our rebellion
    • Jesus' death for our sins
    • Jesus' resurrection as Lord of all
    • The twofold response that all this requires of us. 

    This second edition uses the latest version of Two Ways to Live and has an upgraded look.

    Good for groups

    A few years ago I offered a mums' Bible study at the end of playgroup at our church. It wasn't specifically billed as an evangelistic study, and the mums coming were anywhere from actively involved church members to unchurched people with a vaguely positive view of our church based on their enjoyment of playgroup. I found You, Me and the Bible easy to fit into an hour, even an hour interrupted by little people needing our attention. One mum who had attended church for years became a Christian through the study, another found assurance of salvation for the first time, and we all benefited from a clear but not simplistic reminder of the basic message of the Bible. We went on to "Six Steps to Reading Your Bible" from there.
