This book is published by The Open Word, and is a new English translation of Paul's letter to the people of Colossae and his letter to Philemon, done especially for children to understand. The creating team have started from the original Greek in order to get both high accuracy to the original text and high understanding by the targeted age group today. This letter is fully illustrated, with drawings informed by historical research of the time, and carefully laid out for reading fluency.

Paul wrote to the Colossians to encourage Christians to stick with Jesus Christ as their Lord and not to listen to lies about other ways to be friends with God. He wrote to Philemon to encourage him to put his faith into action in a way that would cost him.
