How do I know what God wants me to do? How can I make decisions which are in line with his will? If God still speaks, will I recognize his voice?
These are important questions, and many Christians grapple with them.
Guidance and the Voice of God charts a way through these often confusing issues, and shows how for those who have ears to hear, God is still speaking loud and clear through his Son.

great very helpful
Our small, weekly Discipleship group recently read this book and went through a lot of the questions at the end, over a couple of weeks. We all found it very helpful and instructive and it reinforced the importance of relying solely on God's Word (see, for example, point 5, p.83 - "Apart from his Spirit working through Scripture, God does not promise to use any other means to guide us, nor should we expect him to".
Very helpful to realise, from the authors, that our actions/decisions are grouped into:
1. Matters of righteousness
2. Matters of good judgement
3. Matters of triviality
A great Christian book to include in one's library.
There's something ironic about the new cover image (looks like a marked path leading to an x). At the end of part II, the key summary of God's guidance is described using the image of a compass: that is, God provides us with his compass to point us to his will for our lives rather than a finely-detailed map that marks out a path for our lives. And now the cover looks a map with tag-line 'will show you where to go'. Compass or map? Irony?
That said, this is an excellent book.
