Not Bad, but Needs Broader Scriptural Reflection
We used the study in a home group and it provided some useful insights and has some reasonably searching questions related to application. The biggest weakness of the study is that it does not provide enough links to other scripture. It has some links, but there were many missed opportunities in questions and commentary to show how the message is reinforced in other scriptures. I can't remember it having a single reference to any of the relevant old testament passages. It had a few references to other new testament scriptures but would have been better with many more.

Thanks, good to let others know your experience! Other feedback received has been that people like the studies to feel completable in a night, so in order to keep within that practical boundary it isn't always possible to include every possible reference. I'll make a note for the editors to check this study again when it's next reprinted to make sure the balance is correct.

Very useful and interesting
Partners for Life was the basis for our growth group meeting discussions. We loved the format and the study questions. The emphasis on application led to very useful and encouraging discussion. The commentary was most interesting.
