Word, people, time and prayer. These are the key elements that author and evangelist Dave Jensen identifies as necessary for running an effective evangelism program. As we introduce people to Jesus, often for the first time, it’s important that they meet him richly through the word of God, while spending quality time with people who already follow Jesus and are praying that God will reveal himself as they meet.
Having run hundreds of courses and led evangelism efforts in several churches, Dave is well equipped to give practical, tried and tested advice to those seeking to start or improve the evangelistic efforts of their church or ministry.
The Discover Leader’s Handbook delivers that advice in a 6-part book that leads you through setting up an evangelism team ministry, pre-course preparation, running each course night, and the vital importance of follow up. Four free training videos also come with the handbook.
The Discover Leader’s Handbook is for use with Discover, the 5-week, ultra-flexible evangelistic course using the Two Ways to Live gospel framework that has been developed and tested over many years in a variety of contexts. Visit the Discover site to find out more and access free videos for both participants and leaders, as well as a wealth of free downloadable support files.
